Permafrost Oil Additive

Permafrost compressor oil additive for chillers and air conditioning systems.

Permafrost offers significant energy and carbon footprint reduction when introduced into chillers and air conditioning systems. Performance increases of 20% to 40% are not unusual, leading to 10% to 20% energy savings and pro rata reductions in carbon footprint.

How is this possible?

A build up oil on internal heat transfer surfaces, will cause a loss of about 7% efficiency in the first year, 5% in the second year and 2% per year thereafter. In most cases the efficiency degradation will peak somewhere between 20% and 30%!

How does Permafrost work?

A proportion of Permafrost added to the compressor oil will break down the oil build up and at the same time will coat the surfaces to prevent a re occurrence. Oil and refrigerant flow is accelerated, increasing thermo conductivity and heat transfer efficiency.

The benefits of investing in Permafrost:

  • A typical return on investment within 12 months
  • A 20% to 40% performance increase
  • A 10% to 20% reduction in your energy bill
  • A pro rata reduction in Carbon Footprint
  • A one time treatment lasts the life of the chiller or air conditioning system
