Have your air cooled condenser properly cleaned, reduce chiller
operating costs by up to 30% and extend component life cycles!
Regular brushing or blowing out of the condenser may clear away surface
dust and debris, but over a period of time, this will get pushed deeper
into the fin spaces, blocking them and gradually reducing the air flow
through the coil.
The condenser has an important job to perform, it’s the sole means
by which heat from the process or air conditioning system, plus the power
input to the compressor, is rejected to atmosphere.
If through blockage the air flow is not available, there are a number
of costly consequences:
- The compressor will work harder at the resulting higher temperatures
and pressures, causing it to consume significantly more electricity.
- Working at these higher temperatures, the compressor will be less
efficient and may not be able to cope.
- Working harder than it needs, the lifetime of the compressor will
be shortened resulting in an expensive repair or replacement.
- During high summer temperatures, the compressor will begin to trip
out on its high pressure safety switch.
- The debris in the condenser will create a pressure drop across it
causing the fans to overheat, trip or worse burn out.
- The debris when wetted could become acidic, causing corrosion and
the eventual need for a costly replacement..
All of these will have some impact on the life cycle of the chiller,
the stability of the chilled water temperature, the efficiency of the
air conditioning or process cooling system with the inevitable consequential
impact on your business.
The answer is our heavy duty non acidic foaming cleanser, specially
formulated to clear even the most stubborn deposits to leave the condenser
coil and fins clean and a more efficient heat transfer surface.
Easy to use, safe to apply, and carried on all of our service vehicles,
the cleaning agent is a low cost alternative to higher than necessary
running costs and shortened life cycles.
